FAQs and Warranty
How long will my wheels take to arrive?
Wheels are built to order and ship in approximately 2 weeks. Wheels may be fulfilled from our Asheville, Kamloops, or Cádiz warehouses depending on location and inventory.
Lifetime Warranty: Carbon Rims
(Applies to Industry Nine & We Are One carbon rims) We cover our carbon rims for life against defects in materials and workmanship. Even better? We also cover riding impact damage. If you take a hard hit on the trail while riding within the wheel's intended use and the rim fails, we want to hear about it. We'll get you a replacement rim or rebuild your wheel at the factory so you can keep rolling.
5-Year Warranty: Hubs
Precision engineering, backed for the long haul. Our hubs and stems are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for 5 years from your original purchase date (with a 2-year guarantee on our anodized finish).
Freehubs
Freehubs can be a confusing world but rest assured, we've got you covered. We offer a freehub for any drivetrain you are speccing your wheelset around.
- XD — SRAM
- Microspline — Shimano, generally found on newer, more expensive 11- or 12-speed cassettes.
- HG — Shimano, generally on more budget friendly cassettes and more commonly found on older drivetrains (7–10 speed).
To confirm your driver, it is best to remove your wheel and look up your cassette by referencing the part number on the outer ring of the cassette. If you have any doubts please contact us — we're here to help!
Hub Spacing Explained
The world of hub spacing can be somewhat daunting as there are an array of axle diameters and spacing options out there. You are likely buying a wheelset for a specific bike, so the best way to confirm your hub spacing is to look up the make, model and year of your bike and confirm the spacing within the build spec. Alternatively, you can remove your front and rear wheel, use a set of calipers and measure the axle hole diameter and hub width to determine your spec.
Most common hub spacing specs:
- Boost Front: 110×15
- Boost Front DH: 110×20 (newer DH forks)
- Boost Rear: 148×12
- Road Front: 100×12
- Road Rear: 142×12
Brake Mount Options — What's the difference?
There are two brake mount options in the hub world: Six Bolt and Center Lock. In general, Six Bolt is the preferred brake mount for most mountain bike applications; however, certain disciplines like XC and Gravel often utilize a Center Lock setup. Center Lock shaves a bit of weight but can come at a durability sacrifice. With 6-bolt, trailside maintenance is also a breeze with any standard T25 torque bit.
For higher speed riding or on technical terrain, we recommend a six bolt setup. If you are riding long distances on gravel or building up a weight-conscious XC or trail bike and you are less worried about durability, we'd recommend going with a Center Lock setup.
