Hydra2 was re-engineered using insights from more than 100,000 original Hydra hubs in the field. It has a 65% thicker axle and larger 6903 bearings with labyrinth seals for durability in the toughest conditions.
A stronger drive ring and an extra tooth on each pawl give 870 points of engagement, or 0.41°, with 60% less coasting drag than the original Hydra.
